100% Green Massachusetts

Monday Action for the week of 10/24/16: Write to your MA legislators with one click:
There is still time to keep this globe blue and full of gorgeous life by moving quickly towards 100% renewable energy.

Sign this powerful petition from Environment America: Speak up for 100% renewable energy for Massachusetts.
The hand-made part of the Monday Action this week is Extra Credit:

Send the following comments to the Department of Energy Resources (DOER)- it’s due 10/28

Thank you, DOER, for your work developing the next generation of solar incentives.

Solar is critical to meeting our environmental targets set by the Global Warming Solutions Act. I am asking you to increase solar incentives substantially to sustain a diverse array of projects and to plan for additional capacity beyond the current goal of 1600 megawatts.

Thank you also for dedicating incentives to low-income and shared solar projects. Please consider adding a category for Environmental Justice, so low-income minority and non-English speaking people can access the benefits of solar.

With Mothers Out Front
DOER is accepting written comments on the proposed program design until October 28, 2016. Please submit all comments via email to DOER.SREC@state.ma.us

Psst, are you in the mood for a pick me up? Don’t think this happened without your calls and notes: Senators Warren and Markey speak to the dire need for serious reform at FERC. Monday Actions work. Tell your friends.
