Monday Action for the week of 3/13/17:
In a forgotten corner of the Massachusetts state bureaucracy, the Board of Building Regulations and Standards is deciding regulations that could speed or slow our progress toward a clean energy future for the coming generations.
All that’s needed is for the Board to require a few parking spaces at new buildings to be wired for electric vehicles. So far they’ve chosen not to. So this week, we’re calling State Senators and urging them to sign on to support the infrastructure we need for electric vehicles to become the norm.

Dear Senator Rosenberg,
I am urgently concerned about climate change. I’m a mom [dad, grandma, uncle, friend, or whatever you are] of children who [tell him about those amazing kids]. I want to give all children a livable future that is powered by 100% renewable energy.
Right now the Board of Building Regulations and Standards could help grow the electric vehicle industry or create roadblocks like other states.
Please sign the letter Rep. Jonathan Hecht has written in support of electric vehicle infrastructure in the updated building regulations.
Senator, we’re counting on you to be bold in fighting climate change and promoting clean transportation for the health and safety of all our children.
